Overview

Our free after school Virtual Coding Club is open for all students in Grades 6-8. The three-week recurring program will provide engaging coding content that will reinforce concepts that make up the world of computer science and software engineering. This program focuses on digital literacy skills as they are fundamental to STEM learning!

Each of the projects relies on free, safe and easily accessible resources that can be found online. It is recommended that students join the Club through a computer/laptop as a keyboard and mouse will further support student success.

Each Club cohort will meet once a week on Zoom for 3 weeks total, and there will be a total of 3 cohorts available for registration. Please only register for 1 cohort as the projects are repeated, space is limited and we want to ensure there are equal opportunities given to all interested participants.
