Overview
Venture Academy’s Engineering Explorations Grade 7/8/9 summer camp is a full-day in-person program hosted at McMaster University’s Campus in Hamilton, Ontario.
Engineering Explorations Grade 7/8/9 is an innovative and captivating STEM camp which presents applications of science in engineering streams through hands-on activities!
Students in this program will apply concepts in chemistry, biology and physics through the following opportunities: classroom workshops, engineering design exploration, digital skill building activities, mentorship opportunities, as well as in state-of-the-art chemistry and biology labs.
This camp program is developed and taught by undergraduate students enrolled in McMaster University’s Faculty of Engineering programs and is also supported by McMaster University professors and staff members.
The one-week program is offered for eight different weeks of the summer. The content is repeated for all weeks of the summer. Please note “Week 5” is a 4-day week due to the statutory holiday.
Students entering Grade 7, 8 or 9 as of September 2022 should enroll in this program.
Venture Academy follows all COVID-19 Safety Protocols as outlined by McMaster University.
