Overview

Our free after school Virtual STEM Club is open for female-identifying participants in Grades 9-12. The three-week recurring club gives students the opportunity to learn from mentors, create STEM based projects and work to reinforce digital literacy skills. This program encourages confidence and works to inspire young female-identifying students to further explore STEM fields through fun and innovative learning.

Each registered participant will be mailed a Club Kit in advance of the program which includes a piece of technology that will be used throughout the club and works to encourage lifelong STEM exploration! We would like to recognize our sponsors at Imperial Oil for making this possible.

Please note: Chromebooks are not supported for completion of these projects, and it is recommended that all students use a laptop/computer rather than a tablet as USB connection is required.

Each Club cohort will meet once a week on Zoom for 3 weeks total, and there will be a total of 3 cohorts available for registration. Please only register for 1 cohort as as the projects are repeated, space is limited and we want to ensure there are equal opportunities given to all interested participants.
